Chanel’s sixth edition of Les Rendez-vous littéraires rue Cambon series (Literary gatherings at Rue Gambon), is subtitled “In Library with Tilda Swinton”.
Tilda shares her favorite writers and tells about her poetry background in this 26-minute episode which debuted on Chanel’s website Monday.
“Reading became quite a drug when I was about ten – when I could really sit and be engrossed in a book for a whole afternoon. That was a big emotion for me,” Tilda reveals – she grew up in a household full of books and three brothers who often excluded her from playtime. “Reading was all about company, it was about having a companion.”
