Michael Stipe’s third volume of photos is a collection of portraits of his close friends and family. Most of the photographs have been taken during the pandemic lockdown. People in the portraits include famous people like Tilda Swinton – her picture is also in the cover. Other people photographed includes John Giorno, Kirsten Dunst and Gus Van Sant – while others are less known.
Unique feature of the photo book is an audio file that you can access through the QR code at the end of the book. In the audio you’ll hear Michael Stipe talk about book, going through each page and it’s backstory. The audio is about one hour long, this gives the book a personal in-depth aspect than his previous released photo books.
